One Year of The Art Büro
Today marks one year since the official launch of The Art Büro! 🎺
But the brand as it is today was many years in the making, born from our experiences both as artists and art PHD art students, with the objective of opening up the Spanish art world with innovative ideas.
Throughout the past year we’ve grown our team and embarked on many different projects that have directly positioned us inside the local art world.
Starting with our first pop-up event for Valentine’s day, where we introduced some of our now most loved artists, followed a couple of months later by hosting our stunning monochrome booth at Art Madrid.
There, we expanded our network beyond Barcelona to Madrid where we collaborated with Lucas Fox International Properties in Madrid, transforming their office space into an art showroom for a phenomenal after work event.
As art consultants we have really enjoyed working with brands and companies to design custom events highlighting their offerings.
Artworks We’ve Placed
We’ve worked extensively with private clients and interior design studios, helping collectors fall in love with artworks they now cherish in their homes and offices.
Immersing Ourselves In The Art World
Despite launching the brand during a pandemic and starting the year with many restrictions in place, we’ve been able to attend some phenomenal art fairs and industry events including ESTAMPA and ARCO week in Madrid, Barcelona Gallery Weekend, SWAB 2021 and the inaugural MiSonny Art Festival.
Just a handful of our many exhibition highlights include The Yago Hortal Retrospective followed by his latest solo show Otra Vez. We also enjoyed Jaume Plensa at Galeria Senda, José Maria Sicilia’s The Madness of Seeing in Mallorca and Estar a la Lluna and the Side Gallery at Palau de Casavells, both in the Empordà.
Artists Studio Visits
We’ve had the privilege to meet and get to know so many talented artists this year, who have shared their creative practise with us and our clients, opening up their studios for private tours.

Our team also put together city guides for Barcelona and Madrid, filled with recommendations and tips for fellow art lovers, and countless resources from podcasts to reading lists.
The Private Showroom we have curated in collaboration with Francesc Macià 10 in support of the cultural revival of Catalunya.
Which brings us to today, where we get to celebrate by opening an exceptional exhibition in an exceptional building supporting a cause very dear to our hearts!
